The white washed fem cantered swiftly into the lands, 'er harks sharply pricked, 'er whipcords waving. 'er dainty talons struck the ground soundlessly, the emeralds barely twitching beneath them. Sh' stopped and a high pithed vocal rang from 'er. Sh' pawed the air, arching 'er boa impressively. 'er pallid mane fell over 'er ebony pools that glinted hopefully. T'was there sh' awaited 'er stag.

Tornoc quietly made his way through the forest toward the sound of the vocal cry. He had caught her scent long before but he had made no move to near her until the call had echoed through the trees. His daggers quietly pierced the soil muffling any noise that could be heard. He had come simply out of curosity, he had no yearn for a mate. Not until he was proven that a certain was worthy of him. He did not search endlessly for one on and on but he would glance or converse at one every once in a while. Without stopping he crept from the shadows into the faes view. He stopped. A Light. He thought as he looked at her, his eyes holding neither hate nor acknowlegement. He simply watched her, eyes gleaming. His scar curved down menacingly seemed to give him a rough brutish look. He snorted. He didn't care for his appearance. If he was to find the true fae she would accept for what he was even if she was a light. He was a dark and had no intention on changing his alliance. Not just yet. What had kept him to his alliance through these years seemed to have only been because of the avenge he sought upon the wolf who had attacked him and had most likely killed his mother. For this purpose he spent his life traveling seeking the painful death of this foe. But there was something else too. Something about him. Something in his very soul that had kept him this far. No, even if he killed the wolf he wouldn't turn away. He enjoyed the dark. He enjoyed bringing pain to those who underestimated him, those who challenged him. To him death was only a game. A game that when played right one was the leader, one was ruler. He looked at the fae again returning to this reality. Though he was dark he held great respect to fillies and faes. He hated the work of raping and abusing a mare. He disagreed upon mating with a mare without her consent. She was a beautiful fae. So elegant and graceful. Most lights were. But somehow he felt a certain emotion between her and himself. He shook his head ridding himself of such fantasies. He approached her, "Now what might we have here." He said smiling wickedly. His fangs glistening as his lips curled from about them. "It would seem that such an elegant and beautiful fae such as yourself shouldn't be wondering these woods alone. Many darks roam about waiting for a fae such as yourself to appear." He cranked his neck as he walked alongside her. His left eye looking right at her. His muzzle just inches from her neck. "You are terribly charming and have excellent grace, my lady. I Tornoc acknowledge that. Tell me what be you blessed?"

Kinchy layed 'er pools 'pon the brute. Sh' nodded respectfully, nodding 'er tiara respectfully towards him in aknowledgement.
*I thank you for the warning, and the compliment beneath it. I am dubbed Kinchy. A pleasure Tornac.*
Sh' replied in fluid vocals, 'er orbs glinted thankfully, for sh' was new to these lands and was arrogant of their darkness. 'er tassels danced along 'er neck as sh' studied the stag from behind the shade of 'er pallid forelock. 'er bodice shimmered with the suns setting colors, 'er muscles rippling beneath 'er pelt. Sh' sensed the stallions darkness, yet felt he wouldn't hurt 'er. Sh' diddn't care 'e was so near 'er. 'er harks pricked towards 'im, catching every word that fell from 'is maw. 'er nares flared sharply as sh' took in 'is scent, and was perplexed by it.

He shook his head and snorted. "You speak bravely of me and seem to not mind these darkened woods. Will you be staying long or are you just a traveler." He smiled wickedly as he watched her. His dark orbs shone with amusement though he wasn't mocking her.

*I play to stay for a while.*
Sh' answered wistfully, swishing 'er pallid banner. 'er pools shimmered with 'er impending thoughts as sh' stared past the stag. Sh' sensed different animals roamed the lands aside equines. 'er nares flared as sh' tried to catch a scent, but all there was was Tornacs.

Satan flared his nostrils as he saw her do the same. There was no other scent. Though, there maybe another presence. He turned his head behind him. Nothing. He looked back toward the mare. "You seem restless Kinchy. Why might that be?" He said a wicked smile upon his maw. Though he toyed with her he meant no harm nor mockery. He enjoyed playing this game quite often.

Sh' blinked thoughtfully towards 'im.
*Are there other things besides equines in these many lands?*
Sh' inquired interestedly, observing 'is features. 'e was a dark, no doubt, but the dreadful hate did not seem to linger inside of 'im as it did in others. It reminded 'er of a song 'er mother used to sing to 'er when sh' was but a filly.

"But of course my young lady. Ther'd be wolves about, hunting for a lone horse to pounce upon." He enjoyed the talk. She seemed quite energetic but he wasn't quite sure.

She nodded, understanding flowing through her. 'er lashes flicked across 'er pools as sh' watched 'im.
* I see.*
Sh' stated vaguely. Sh' looked at 'er surroundings carefully, peering around. 'er orbs lit up as sh' set 'er gaze upon a log roughly 3 feet tall. Sh' courageously nudged the dark stag with 'er velvet, then set off at a canter and flew over the jump joyously. Sh' leaped over it once again, feet of air between 'er pistoons and the harsh bark. Sh' landed soundlessly and trotted back over to 'im, 'er coat glistening.

He smiled. So she is energetic. He watched curiously as she soared over the log several times. Quickly he galloped up behind her joining her playful game. Over nad over he jumped the log then came to a sliding stop. He spotted a row of dead branches lined parallel to each other and trotted over to them. Skillfully he pranced over the branches not faltering a step. Then he went into an easy gallop rounded toward the log and quickly jumped it. He snorted as he trotted by the mare. "You have excellent skill and grace. You will do well in these lands. Shall we continue or would you like to explore these lands beside me? Like you I am fairly new here." He watched her curiously. Waiting for her reply.

Sh' smiled happily, 'er pools glimmering with pleasure at this newfound energy in the stag. Sh' tipped 'er tiara slightly, moving 'er tassels from 'er orbs.
*Let us continue where our paths lead us. Through the forest, that is where I am called. I thank you for your kindred words., you too have much grace. We shall jump anything that bides our leeway. Do you agree upon this quest?*
She prodded softly at 'is true self with 'er noble questions and quests, though sh' meant not to cause 'im anger nor pain.

He smiled at her adventurous nature. He recalled her words clearly but to him they sounded as a fantasy. A fantasy he had want to follow so long ago...
He returned his attention to her. Why not? What else do I have to do? "Let us, but, unlike you my path does not lead to the forest. My path leads a great distance from here I fear. I must search for what I seek when it is time. Until then I shall stay with you." He bowed his head. "That is...if you do not mind my dark presence."
He liked her energy. It seemed so great, so powerful. He hoped to stay with her for a time. At least until he was beckoned to follow his own destiny. It had been so long before he had had the chance to unleash himself, his energetic self. Yet he wondered when his crave for bloodlust would send him off once again.
Though he respected this mare he would have to kill eventually. He would not kill a mare. It wasn't his nature. If he was to kill it would be a wolf or a stag but not a mare. Though he was kind, his darkness still lay deep within his soul. He dug at the dirt with his dagger awaiting her reply.

Sh' smiled happily, 'er pools still graspong that vague, eccentric look.
*I do not mind. Come, let us explore the beauty of the forest.*
Sh' sated boldy, prancing prettily into the dense cover of trees. Sh' cantered and lept flawlessly over a log and dissapeared beyond a veil of emerald leaves.

He waited before following. Why am I doing this? I shouldn't be here. I should be fulfilling my long made oath. I should be hunting him... He looked at where she had disappeared. I'll play along for a short while but then I'm off.
He went into an easy canter and skillfully leapt over the log and entered the veil. Darkness enveloped his body as he took off after her, leaping over logs and trotting over fallen branches. His orbs were accustomed to darkness, he had been born within it.
Carefully he picked his way through the darkness. Every so often light would shine brightly through the trees giving off an intense glow. He stayed behind Kinchy keeping at a distance so as not to disturb her concentration.

She carefully flicked 'er harks back and heard 'is footsteps. 'er pools glimmered happily as sh' spotted a paricularly high log. Sh' extended 'er canter perfectly and lept over it neatly, landing quietly.
